A: MindCoral is an online homework help platform where students and learners can interact with Academic Professionals for assistance with their homework, studies, and academic questions.
A: MindCoral offers a couple of focused services to users:
• 24/7 access to personalized homework help or assistance with any academic question
• Access to a comprehensive online library database of peer-reviewed questions and answers
New features will also be gradually introduced to the site.
A: There are no contracts or long-term commitments to use our services, and accounts are always free to create and use. Users are able to purchase credits from their accounts and use them to pay for services when needed. You decide how much you would like to pay for help with your questions.
We recommend that new users create an account and explore the various options and services we offer and how they work. So go ahead and give it a try!
Using MindCoral is not considered cheating. Our services are meant to help and assist you in understanding the material and not to provide ready answers for you to submit in class. Please note that our Academic Professionals are prohibited from completing homework, and are here to help you better understand the material.
Should you use any of the material on MindCoral for research or similar purposes, you need to apply the appropriate references.
Please check out our blog and Facebook page for tips and information on how to avoid cheating and plagiarism, as well as other useful information.
We are always eager to hear from you and to answer all your questions.
After careful consideration, we have decided to omit including a phone number for support. We found that the fastest and most effective way to contact us is through the Contact Us form or through email at support@mindcoral.com, which allows us to address all your questions or issues within 24 hours - holidays and weekends exempted.
However, we may consider bringing back the phone number for support in the future.
A: Once you have created your free account, you can easily post questions through your dashboard. Use the 'Ask Question' on your dashboard to get started.
A: You decide how much you want to pay using your account credits. You can estimate the worth of a question based on how much time you think an Academic Professional will require to provide a solid response. We recommend that five credits should be worth roughly 10-15 minutes.
You can always add or reduce the the number of credits you assigned to a question at any time, even after posting it.
A: You can ask for help in any of the many subjects that our Academic Professionals are qualified in. You need to choose a subject, topic, as well as difficulty level from the drop down menus provided. This helps Academic Professionals prepare an appropriate response.
A: There is no limit to the number of questions you can post at the same time. As long as you have sufficient credits in your account, you can ask as many questions as you want. So, ask away!
A: Credits are ‘question credits’ that are purchased through your account and are used to pay for any services on the website. Each credit is purchased for $4.98 and it is up to you to decide how many credits to use for personalized homework help, with a minimum of 1 credit. This gives you the flexibility to decide how much you want to pay for assistance with your academic work.
Purchased credits are non-refundable, however, unused credits remain in your account and never expire.
A: No, there is no maximum limit. Simply set the credit amount at a fair number given the difficulty, length, and type of question that you need help with.
Caution however; the system flags questions that have 35 credits or more assigned! These questions are individually reviewed by our Academic Department to make sure there is no abuse of your account, which we take very seriously. If abuse is detected, the question may be deleted from the system and the credits returned to your account.
To ensure that never happens, it is always recommended that you do not exceed 35 credits per question. If you have a very long question, it is better to break down the question into a few smaller questions and assign a smaller number of credits to each of those questions.
A: Yes. You can increase or decrease the amount of credits offered to receive an answer or response by viewing the question options from your dashboard.
A: You can download answers or responses from the Coral Library by using the same credits in your account. You can also purchase solutions from the library without an account by adding them to the cart and using your credit card.
Once a response is downloaded, it should appear in your account or sent to your email if you do not have an account.
A: Yes. You can see who answered or responded to each question in the Coral Library with a link to that Academic Professional's profile and overall rating.
A: Most questions are answered or responded to within the first few hours. However, it may take longer depending on your question's level of difficulty.
Make sure your deadline provides sufficient time for an answer or response to be worked on by an Academic Professional.
A: Academic Professionals are required to provide an answer or response that reflects exactly what you asked for in your question. For instance, if you require references, make sure to request references in your question. Additionally, you can use the optional word count to make sure an Academic Professional knows exactly what you need or require.
A: No. You cannot use the answer or response received from an Academic Professional verbatim, as this would be considered plagiarism.
However, you can reference the answer or response given to you by the Academic Professional.
Please note that the goal of MindCoral Academic Professionals is to assist in helping students and learners understand their academic material, and not to provide ready answers for submission or grading.
A: It is always recommended that you set the deadline to receive your answer well in advance of needing it for your academic needs in case your question is not picked up by one of our Academic Professionals and you need to resubmit it for help.
If you assigned your question to a specific Academic Professional, and the deadline passes, you will receive a notification in your MindCoral account inbox. You will then have the option of reposting the question to the general pool or to cancel the question. You may also chose to open the question, edit the question and re-assign it to another specific Academic Professional of your choice.
A: Once your question is picked up by an Academic Professional you may contact the Academic Professional to add additional information to your question, or to ask them for clarification once the answer is received. You may do this by clicking the ‘Send Message’ button from your account. Any response you receive from an Academic Professional will be located in your account under the ‘Messages’ tab at the bottom of the page.
However, users are NOT permitted to contact Academic Professionals outside of MindCoral's platform or to provide Academic Professionals with their contact information such as email addresses or phone numbers.
DOING SO WOULD VIOLATE MINDCORAL'S TERMS OF SERVICE AGREEMENT.
A: Although it is highly unlikely, it is possible to receive a substandard answer from an academic professional. In this case, it is strongly recommended that you discuss the issue with the academic professional who will usually be happy to change or update the solution. Users have a window of two weeks to ask for any changes or clarifications to a poorly constructed solution.
If a answer/response still remains unsatisfactory or you are still unhappy, you can directly email our complaints department at complaints@mindcoral.com
If a complaint has merit, users are given a full refund for any credits used. Please note that refunds can only be in the form of credits.
A: If a question you posted was not answered, there may be a number of reasons to consider:
1. Make sure you posted your question in the appropriate subject and topic categories. This ensures the most qualified Academic Professionals read your question.
2. Make sure that the amount of credits offered accurately reflects the time and effort it will take an Academic Professional to provide an answer or response.
3. Try to make sure the question is as clear and as detailed as possible.
4. Finally, make sure you are not asking Academic Professionals to provide you with a full answer or homework completion request. If Academic Professionals feel you are asking them to complete your homework, they are likely to simply ignore the question.
A: Yes. The goal is to make sure you fully understand the material. So, if you have any further questions or clarification, make sure to let the Academic Professional know. You have a window of two weeks to ask for further clarification to an answer or response.
A: Yes. You can choose a specific Academic Professional when posting a question or when editing a question. Only that Academic Professional and view and answer or respond to your question.
If you do not choose a specific Academic Professional, your question is posted to the general pool where it can answered by any Academic Professional approved for your chosen subject category.
A: Our Academic Professionals have expertise and are qualified in over 100 subject and topic areas. To view or browse a detailed list of subjects, you can use the link at bottom of the page.
A: Each Academic Professional goes through a formal selection process whereby our Academic Department reviews their application and credentials in order to determine if they are qualified to become an Academic Professional at MindCoral.
All Academic Professionals are required to have completed a masters degree in their area(s) of expertise, as well as be proficient in the English language. Our Academic Professionals must supply a copy of their masters degree prior to being approved in assisting students or learners at MindCoral.
A: Students may rate an answer given by an Academic Professional by selecting a grade of either A, B+, B, C or D. These ratings are averaged to give the overall rating that you see on the Academic Professional’s profile. Student ratings may be monitored, and it is important that a student’s rating is fair and accurate.
A: Each Academic Professional is given a 'level of expertise' depending upon how many questions they have answered. This level is not indicative of the Academic Professional's actual level of experience in a particular subject. It is simply a tool that MindCoral uses to show which Academic Professionals have the most experience assisting students or learners on the site.
A: Yes. The personal information you enter when creating an account remains private and secure. Other than yourself, no users on the site can view your information.
A: You can cancel your account at any time by contacting us at support@mindcoral.com
However, it is strongly recommended to keep your account active so that you always have secure access to any answers or responses that you have previously purchased. Please note that any unused credits in your account are not transferable or refundable, and therefore, are cancelled along with your account.
